Listen, life is hard. And not having the right support team or resources in place can leave you feeling depleted and defeated. With C.A.R.E Counseling you do not have to face life alone. I have almost two decades of experience in the mental health and social work fields working with diverse and underserved populations from children to the elderly. Throughout the course of my career I have provided services to those impacted by grief and loss, substance abuse, mood disorders, anger,domestic violence, incarceration,trauma, sexual offending behaviors, medical illness, LGBT issues, homelessness and other complex personal issues. I tend to utilize more cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in my treatment approach but it depends on the person and what works best for them. It is important that you feel supported and can share your feelings and life experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space. My goal is to serve as a guide to help you work through difficult feelings and experiences, gain insight and self-awareness, achieve personal goals, and bring balance back into your lives by C.A.R.E (ing).My desire is for you to come to a point where depression, loneliness, and hopelessness are no longer controlling factors in your life and are replaced by courage, self-love, and deep relational connections.
